Newcastle United's Haris Vuckic scored the winning goal for League One side Rotherham this afternoon as they beat Bradford 1-0 at Valley Parade. The 21 year old who is on an emergency loan deal at the club until January 2nd 2014 scored in the 20th minute infront of a crowd of 18,218.
Rotherham manager Steve Evans said after the game;
"The game was about character and we had the character. We were dominant.
There was an electric atmosphere with a big crowd, but I think the Bradford crowd will think they were beaten by a better side on the day.
The lads were disappointed they didn't win by three or four nil, but I have great respect for Bradford. They have some very good players and they will come back."
When Evans signed Vuckic back in November he said of the deal;
"This is a fantastic player and we are looking forward to working with him."He certainly adds a lot of quality to an already talented squad."
Rotherham are currently 6th in League One.
