Tiote Faces Trial Late October For Driving Offences

Newcastle United midfielder Cheik Tiote appeared in Crown Court today to answer charges of using a false driving licence, making a false statement to obtain a licence and of fraud after he claimed his Belgian licence was legitimate, to all of which he pleaded not guilty.

Tiote will now stand trial the week beginning 28th October 2013 for all three offences and remains on unconditional bail.
