Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has confirmed that both Sylvain Marveaux and Davide Santon are in tomorrow's squad and will be risked. Both players are facing late fitness tests on problematic hamstrings but at this stage in the season Pardew has said that everyone has to play with "knocks and injuries".
He said;
"We’ll take both. Maybe they can give me an option towards the end of a game. There’s no caution. Everyone has to play with knocks and injuries.
Unfortunately for Moussa and Shola, they just couldn’t function.
The bonus is that Sylvain’s back. He’s got the most assists. We know at the end of games he can create that moment that might get us a win.”
Contradicting reports suggest that Sissoko and Shola are struggling with foot/ankle injuries whilst others report knee problems. Pardew has confirmed this will not play in the sides last two games of the season.
