Former Newcastle United and current Chelsea striker Demba Ba has told The Sun that he went to the Newcastle hotel on the eve of their game against West ham last weekend to try and motivate his former team-mates. The side drew 0-0 at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon, but that was better than the 6-0 hammering at Liverpool the week before.
Ba said;
"I went to see them at the hotel and tried to give them a bit of motivation because I would not like to see them go down.
Newcastle have got the qualities, there is not a lot missing for the team to get out of the situation and I hope they will. They’re all motivating each other and talking to each other.”
