Sammy Ameobi Loaned Out To Boro

Newcastle United striker Sammy Ameobi has been loaned out to Middlesbrough for the rest of the season. The 20 year old has made 14 appearances for Newcastle this season, but will now drop down to the Championship to join Boro's promotion campaign. The side are currently just outside of the playoff places, but manager Tony Mowbray is keen to see him help out the side.
He told the Shields Gazette;
“He gives us a different option.
He’s an out and out attacking wide player who can operate on either side, and will be ideal when we want to play with two wingers.
He will hopefully give some players a lift and create some competition.”

I'm glad he's being loaned out even to 'Borough.
I've been saying for some time that his performances have been disappointing and feel the experience of playing more games in the Championship will really help him.
Like many of our reserve team (pre-winter transfer market) he doesn't quite step up too the mark when asked to play in the first team. This will be good for us and maybe we could loan out a couple more who also really need the expierence of playing week in week out.

Ranger is apparently off on loan to a league one side in the near future.

Could have picked a better side to send him on loan to. As for Ranger lets hope he stays at the club he's going to the bloke is a joke.
I sort of met Ranger a while back, a bloke I grew up with decided to tell him what he thought of his antics in sandwich shop in Jesmond. As the bloke is possibly the hardest man I know I shall refrain from naming him' but watching ranger @#$%& himself was entertaining to say the least
The Championship is probably where he belongs IMO

He'll be premier league one day but needs to play at a lower level regularly for a season or 2, he has a lot to learn especially that it is physically impossible to run through another person!
I think he's been watching Ben Arfa too much. H e's another one who thinks the opposing players will just dissolve as he runs through them.
Ben arfa sometimes does seem to make them dissolve! Sammy just thinks they'll move out of his way
