Coloccini Agent "Cannot Believe" Rumours of Quitting NUFC

Marcelo Lombilla has taken steps to distance his client, Fabricio Coloccini from comments his father made last night saying that the Newcastle United captain is looking to leave the club as "elegantly" as possible. Lombilla has told Radio 9 that he cannot believe the comments, however his own words do not completely refute the initial claims.

He said;

"The San Lorenzo thing arises because of a personal matter, and because his father is at the club.

He only renewed his contract six months ago.

These stories always create a buzz and generate illusions, but they are just that illusions and nothing more. These things written I just cannot believe."

Last night Osvaldo Coloccini said that his son wanted to join him at San Lorenzo, where he is the youth coach.

As yet Coloccini himself if yet to comment.

San Lorenzo have already stated that they haven't the money to get anywhere near what NUFC would value him at and couldn't even pay him a tenth of his current wage, its the sort of move that a player would make when he was a few years older not 30!
