Newcastle United have released an official club statement confirming that Chelsea FC have made an offer for striker Demba Ba and that the club have given him permission to speak to them. The statement also confirmed he is no longer available for tonight's game.
The Official statement from NUFC.co.uk reads:
“Newcastle United can confirm that Chelsea Football Club has made on official offer for Demba Ba which has triggered the release clause in the player’s contract. The Club has given the player permission to speak to Chelsea FC and therefore he will not be included in the squad for tonight’s game against Everton.”
Chelsea have sacked managers for dropping torres, Ba will play 10 mins here and there and in the cups, i give him a season at the most until he's trying to orchestrate another move!
I agree Mentalman. Expect him to start saturday (annoying as I am going to the saints chelsea game) and then maybe midweek (capitol 1) and see Torres back for the League.
Pardew sticking to the usual format tonight but admitted that he is likely to put Cisse back in his preferred role in future
