Ba Joins Injury List

Boot in hand, Newcastle United striker Demba Ba has been taken off with a injury in the 72nd minute of the game against West Bromwich Albion. The Senegal International limped to the sidelines to be replaced by Sammy Ameobi, but he didn't seem to be in too much pain, so hopefully the change was just for precautionary measures.

Ba, who scored Newcastle's goal in the 35th minute will now be assessed to determine the extent of the injury.

Manager Alan Pardew has had his fair share of injuries to contend with this season, but has a mostly fit team with just long term injuries to Ryan Taylor, Dan Gosling and Haris Vuckic who all have knee problems.
