Missed some of the game but from what I saw we responded well after a poor start. Elliot made some quality saves and showed why he was number two last season, Bigirimana was outstanding, probably our man of the match and Gosling & Santon had decent games as well. Amalfitano & Obertan, although bright at certain stages showed why they some way off the starting eleven. All in all its an away point in Europe and we did it without Krul, Simpson, Coloccini, R.Taylor, Anita, Cabaye, Jonas, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Ba and Cisse.
Gosling was bloody awful in the game, and at times didn't even move to try and create space. The pitch was rubbish, and I have played on better playing Sunday football, but the toon had a strong enough team to win that game, and will need to up the temper, as when we did at times in the game we were far better
