Shola Ameobi and Leon Best start for Newcastle this afternoon, as does Yohan Cabaye, but Fabricio Coloccini isn't risked after a late fitness test. Kazenga LuaLua has failed to make the team or bench for Brighton against his former team-mates.

Would rather have seen Best/Arfa up top with Raylor on the right flank.

Shola has the armband (I'd have given it to Cabaye or Jonas).
