Carroll Aiming High

Newcastle United striker Andy Carroll is aiming high in the romance stakes by announcing Cheryl Cole is his ideal woman. Ms Cole may be who he aspires to be with, but Carroll who is currently on bail for an assault which is alleged to have taken place at his ex girlfriends house may have to try harder to clear up his bad boy reputation.

Carroll who faces Ashley Cole on November 28th when Newcastle play Chelsea, told the tabloids;

"Cheryl is my dream woman.

With all she's been through I think what she really needs is to return to her roots and get herself a good down-to-earth Geordie boyfriend.

If I can get her out for a dinner date I'm sure I could convince her I'm the one for her."

The only way Carroll has a chance is by chinning her.

Oh, FFS!

I don't know...my wife thinks he's a good-looking enough lad but needs a haircut...but then there's the whole pouring drinks on people/breaking jaws thing. Most women I know aren't really into that, but Cheryl is spirited and knows her way around a fight. If I had photoshop, I dare say I could come up with a pretty good image to go with this story!
