Who Should We Keep To Take On The Premiership?

Since promotion, the transfer rumours have started and good old Newcastle bring the show back to earth, with the proposed 5 year plan. We have talked about players we need to bring in, not only first teamers but some squad players, with certain positions having no cover.
With the lack of money, or no money unless other teams are willing to take some of our castoffs, we are going to have to wheel and deal but at the same time keep the quality that we have if we stand a chance of staying up, which of these do you think are going to stand up, be counted and secure premiership football for the following season?
The Championship made some of our players look good, but will we be able to keep the team spirit when the result don’t go our way? Who will stand up and fight for the shirt or who will show the lack of passion in the club, that made us get in this mess? The coming season will be different when we are no longer the big draw and teams looking at us as 3 points for them, rather than us going into every game predicting big wins and saying we would at least take a draw. With the lack of pace that Smith, Guthrie and Nolan have will they be able to compete with the classier midfielders that all top 10 teams have and will they be able to dig deep to get us the 3 points when we play the struggling teams?
Can Andy Carroll and Joey Barton stay out of trouble and live up to the potential? Barton has proved he can play at this level and is definitely good enough, if he can keep out of the way of the referee or local police. Will Carroll concentrate on the football rather than the glassing, giving people a clip around the ear or all round ASBO behaviour? Is Harper good enough to step up and make the difference, yes he kept lots of clean sheets, but the forwards in the fizzy pop league need numerous chances to score. Torres, Rooney and Drogba only need the one, or is it time to give Krul the shot and can he step up to it?
Coloccini and Enrique seem settled but we are not in the fizzy pop league and will they be able to handle the likes of Lennon and Rooney, both have been fantastic this season and have proved a class above. Can the others step up, Lovernkrands, Simpson, Williamson, Routledge and Jonas?
Which player do you think will make the biggest difference and not hopefully keep us up but push us up the league?

Well colo and enrique both clearly have class and if they can adapt to the championship phyically, then they can the championship.
And you say can Enrique handle Lennon...i suggest you get the tape the last time we played spurs, Lennon did nothing all game becuase of enrique.
Everyone else at the club has earned the right to have a go.
Some players may have to become squad players (routledge, simpson) for players with quality but we shouldnt ship anyone out.
The only reason we should sell is if say Jonas plays to his best in the world cup and we get a big offer for him.
If we are going for 17th-12th then keep as much as we can and add to the squad slowly over the next 3-5 years and not sell out best players!

I am not saying that Enrique can't handle Lennon, what I am discussing is which player will make the biggest impact next year. I am not having a dig at the lads, only pointing out that the fizzy pop league is different than the premiership and that they will playing a better class of player.
Most players will have a good season but normally one player makes the difference when a club stays up, Hart at Birmingham, the forward at Wolves. So I was asking who people think which of our players will make the big difference next year.

Given the finance situation, it's much easier for me to say who should be sold (if possible) from last year's first team:

Everyone else deserves a go. Actually, we pretty much need everyone else as we couldn't afford to replace them in any case.

I think that is going to be the problem with with transfer market, are we going to let players go for small fees and then wonder if we can get them replaced. I think we will look to bring in players first either on loan or out of contracts. Once that happens I could see a few going
