Our next two games with Dundee Utd in the League and Cup have been changed.
The Scottish Cup tie with Dundee United has been moved to Sunday 13th March with a 1:15pm kick off at Tannadice to accommodate Sky TV.
This is the second time in this cup run we have been forced to travel to Dundee on a Sunday at the same time, as we had to do the same for the Fourth Round tie with Dundee across the road at Dens.
Let’s hope the club and the SFA can make it attractive for Motherwell fans to travel rather than stay at home or watch it in one of the local pubs. The pricing at the gate has to be right, and maybe even free transport laid on would help as well.
Our next game with United in the SPL has been brought forward ten days to Wednesday 6th April at Fir Park rather than Sat 16th April. This is because of the Scottish Cup semi finals fall on 16th and one of the two clubs is bound to be playing in the showpiece game at Hampden.
Once again the poor punter is the one who has to be messed about to accommodate either TV or the big games….
