Craigan

Defenders Stephen Craigan and Steven Saunders were both called up for International duty today.

After making his full debut at the end of last year Saunders drops back into Billy Stark’s Under 21 squad for a three day training camp from 7th to 9th February 2011

There is no doubt this will be a good thing for the young defender who has impressed at Fir Park this season, but this is the level he should be representing Scotland at.

Craggs has been called into the Northern Ireland squad for the game with Scotland in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Wed February 9th, as part of the Carling tournament.

If the Well skipper starts the game it will be his 53rd cap in total but more significantly it will be his 50th for Motherwell, the first Motherwell player to achieve this record.
