Barnsley Wednesday 6 aside League

  In the Leisure Leagues Barnsley Wednesday 6 a side League held at Shafton ALC/Outwood academy we saw some excellent matches played yet again.  

Wednesday Champions Grimey took on Sunday Champions Suffolk n Close in a one off super cup match. The match as expected was a tight affair with Grimey sneaking a 1 – 0 victory courtesy of a penalty.

 

Man Like Stromzy and Titans continued their 100 per cent starts to the new season. Titans recorded a 1 – 0 victory over Yorkshire Puddins with Nev the man of the match for Titans.

 

Stormzy beat Colonel Getafe 3 – 1 with Getafe keeper James the man of the match in that one.

 

Bayern Bru beat Thurnscoe 3 – 1 and the Thurnscoe goalkeeper Sam was the man of the match in that one.

 

In the final game of the evening Ardagh Unite beat D.S 1 – 0 with D.S goalkeeper Lewis the man of the match to make it a clean sweep for keepers for the first time ever.
