Barnsley v Bristol City Preview

By Red Army
October 28 2016

Barnsley entertain Bristol City on Saturday with Lee Johnson returning to Oakwell for the first time since his departure last season.

The reds have a bit of a midfield crisis for this one with skipper Conor Hourihane joining Josh Scowen in suspension following his fifth booking of the season.

There is also a sickness bug going round Oakwell so hopefully that can stay away from the remaining available players otherwise we could be in trouble.

Bristol City are waiting on news on Luke Freeman after he injured his ankle against Blackburn last week.

Star striker Tammy Abraham is expected to be recalled after being rested in the League Cup in mid-week.

The reds have won only two of their last 13 league encounters against Bristol City.

No side has scored more goals in the last 15 minutes of games than Barnsley who have scored 10 so far this season in that period of time.

Reds fans lets have your predictions for this one. I reckon it’s going to be a high scoring entertaining game and I’m going 2 – 2.
