Seasiders Are Back

Tomorrow will see the start of the new Championship season and its Déjà-Vu for Blackpool who face Bristol City tomorrow at 3:00pm, the same match which saw Pool draw 1-1 with City in last season 1st home match in the Championship in 29 years and this season sees Blackpool stronger then ever.

Blackpool have been one of the busiest teams in the transfer market signing no more the 12 new players. The better of the signings being David Vaughan who signed from Real Socidad for £200,000, Rob Edwards from Wolves for £275,000 and Adam Hammill whose on a 6 month loan period. Along with Baptiste, Broomes, Martin, Nardiello, Rehman, Gilks, Wright, Kabba and Camera.

Bristol have not been that busy with only Metab and Maynard coming in but these two signings look to boost Gary Johnson’s side to maybe going one step further then last season playoff misery.

Even with the 12 signings a few key ones may not be available with David Vaughan still needing clearance and Nardiello and Kabba injured. However Edwards looks set for a debut along with Gilks maybe who has impressed.

One to Watch – RoB Edwards

Bristol definalty look set for giving Maynard his debut along with Metab and look for an early win against the taunted relegation team.
