North Stand Update!

Well earlier this week on tangerine-planet.co.uk, we revealed that the vacant North Stand commercial space is currently being fitted out for it's new Tennant's. Now we can reveal who the expected Tennant is and what the expected use will be, once it is built.

 

The space will be leased by the Blackpool Primary Care Trust. A current client who already rents existing space on the upper floors of Bloomfield Road.

The PCT intend to use the site as a drop in centre. Now a drop in centre should not be confused with a walk in centre. A walk in centre is where you go if your ill. A drop in centre can have many uses. Including sexual health and dealing with drug users.

Some dispense replacement drugs such as Methadone to drug users.  From what we hear, the drugs service is what's intended for this outlet within the ground.

The space originally was going to be a chippy, It was an idea by club owner Owen Oyston but it seems like that idea has been scrapped. Perhaps it could be built into the South though! Eh Owen?
