Well could Blackpool Football Club manager Simon Grayson be about to be recruited by Leicester City as there new manager? Last weekend, national newspaper The People claimed that Simon Grayson has been lined up to replace Ian Holloway at the Walkers Stadium!
In reality we can't see this happening; just for the simple fact it would be going back wards for Grayson. Moving to a team who will be playing league 1 next season, won't boost his hopes of managing a premiership team.
Also could anyone see Grayson marching to the orders of Milan Manderic? To be honest I'd take Oyston anytime of the week. More worryingly though, The same newspaper published that Burnley were interested in Kaspars Gorkss. In a rumour which is till refusing to go away.
Last week, we cast our opinion on where Gorkss would move if he was to move and it turned out Burnley were our favourites. Gorkss is the subject of a £250,000 release clause and this has put the defender firmly in the dingles transfer plans. However no move has been agreed yet and the player remains a Blackpool player for now.
In other transfer news, Marcus Bean has found a new club. The midfielder has joined Brentford after been released by Simon Grayson, the 23 year old will be hoping to get his career back on track at his new home.
Meanwhile another former 'pool favourite has suffered the axe elsewhere. Hall of famer Trevor Sinclair was released by Cardiff City this week, just days after playing in an FA Cup final. The Blackpool Gazette suggests that "Tricky Trev" would be in Simon Grayson's transfer plans, especially is Wes Hoolahan moves on this summer.
Speaking of the Blackpool Gazette, today they reported a story about how former Burnley and Blackpool manager Stan Ternent is chasing three of pool's released players. Now managing Huddersfield Town, Stan is aid to be chasing former favourites Keigan Parker, Michael Flynn and Michael Jackson. However Keigan Parker is said to be chasing a move down south making a move to the terriers unlikely.
