For the first time this season the Cherry and Whites failed to pick up any points as Sarries won 36-14 to leapfrog the visiotors to move into the play-offs.

Gloucs had a narrow lead at the break but failed to trouble the scorers in the second half.

Chris Harris and Santi Carreras had given the travelling faithful hope with two excellent scores in that first half. The first was a thing of beauty with a slick move from their own half which saw Jacob Morris' grubber-kick falling perfectly for the Scotland centre.

However, Rotimi Segun and Nick Tomkins also scored for Sarries before organges,  and in the second half the home side cut loose scoring 24 unanswered points.

Four games to go with Chiefs at Kingsholm next Sunday so still all to play for.
