Jonny May marked his last game at Kingsholm with one of the eight tries which put his side in a much better frame of mind for Friday's European Challenge Cup final at the Spurs Stadium.

Newcastle Falcons found themselves in the role of sparring partners as Gloucs looked to banish the memory of last week's humiliation at Saints. Falcons were looking for their first win and only win of the season but had litle to offer as they went down 54-14.

Santi Socino of Gloucester Rugby during the Gallagher Premiership match Gloucester Rugby vs Newcastle Falcons at KingshoIt was all over by half-time with Zach Mercer, Chris Harris, Charlie Atkinson and Ollie Thorley getting the try bonus point in the bag. Jonny May got his try in the second half along with Seb Blake and a couple of late scores from Alex Hearle and Josh Hathaway.

And fittingly hooker Santi Socino (left)  was asked to convert the final try to mark his own exit from Kingsholm. He didn't miss.
