Gloucester are not taking the trip to struggling Falcons lightly as the international players return for the Friday night game on BT Sport kick off 7.45 ..

Wales' Louis Rees-Zammit, Scotland's Chris Harris and Italy's Stephen Varney all start at Kingston Park, which is still recovering form the surprise departure of head coach Dave Walker.

By contrast there is only one change up front with Harry Elrington in for Val Rapava-Ruskin in the front row.

Fakcons are in second bottom place,  and with no relegation look to have been reducing their overheads with recent departures - including George McGuigan to Kingsholm, of course.

After recent results Gloucs find themselves only one place above their hosts but with 12 more points to their name. Such is the tightness of the league that a five pointer could close the gap on fifth place Irish to just two points with three games to go.
