In all the turmoil surrounding professional rugby at the moment it is worth noting that Gloucs v Bristol on Saturday October 15th will be only the second time there has been a premiership league game at Kingsholm this season. Perhaps those who advocate going to a 10 team league should reflect.

The Prem is turning up some really entertaining games at the  moment. Big scores. Games not resolved until the final few pulsating minutes. Less is not more in keeping customer loyalty and the all important cash flowing.

We do have a very attractive local derby to finally enjoy. Gloucs make several changes with Jonny May starting and Santiago Carreras moving to full back. Chris Harris also returns in the centre and Jack Singleton starts in the froint row in place of Santiago Socino.

In the back-row  Ruan Ackermann moves to number 8 with Jordy Reid returning at No.6.
