The gloves are off as the last 16 of the European Challenge Cup provides the prospect of a Saturday night encounter with Northampton Saints at a floodlit Kingsholm (kick off 8.00 pm).

It's now a knock-out competition and George Skivington goes for his possible squad with a host of changes from last week's win in Newport.

Ten changes all. Back three is Santiago Carreras, Louis Rees-Zammit and Ollie Thorley outside of  Chris Harris, Mark Atkinson, Adam Hastings and Charlie Chapman.

The ball winners (hopefully) will include  Val Rapava-Ruskin and Fraser Balmain return at prop with last week's hattriuck here Santiago Socino at hooker.

The bench also looks tasty notably Twelvetrees, Morgan and Meehan.

Gloucs: 15. Santiago Carreras 14. Louis Rees-Zammit  13. Chris Harris 12. Mark Atkinson 11. Ollie Thorley 10. Adam Hastings 9. Charlie Chapman  1. Val Rapava-Ruskin 2. Santiago Socino 3. Fraser Balmain 4. Freddie Clarke 5. Mati Alemanno 6. Jordy Reid 7. Lewis Ludlow 8. Ruan Ackermann.

Bench: 16. Jack Singleton 17. Harry Elrington 18. Jamal Ford-Robinson 19. Alex Craig 20. Ben Morgan 21. Ben Meehan 22. Billy Twelvetrees 23. Tom Seabrook.
