Gloucester and London Irish kick off the Six Nations with a big game at Kingsholm on Friday night. The pipeopener is live on BT Sports kick off 7.45.

Of course,  both sides will be missing some of their internationals.  Gloucs will be without Kirill Gotovtsev, Mark Atkinson, Chris Harris, Louis Rees-Zammit and Stephen Varney.

As a result Jack Clement and Matias Alemanno come into the pack. In the backs Kyle Moyle will be at full back, Lloyd Evans and Charlie Chapman at half back.  Ollie Thorley and Santiago Carreras will be on the wings with Giorgi Kveseladze and Billy Twelvetrees in the centre.

Irish go into the game on the back of some improved form which has taken them to sixth in the league some  8 points behind Gloucs who are in fourth. A win for the Cherry and Whites would take us up to second - albeit probably not for more than 20 hours.
