Unreal Start To Gloucs Season

We have all been looking forward to a full season in front of capacity crowds unfortunately it looks as though we will have to wait a little bit to see the real Cherry and Whites take to the pitch.

It was the players George Skivingon could not select who made the news  at his mid-week press conference that stood out.

We have three players still away with Argentina - Santiago Carreras,  Matías Alemanno and Santiago Socino and they wil be missing for a few weeks.

Skivington has also given Louis Res-Zammitt and Chris Harris more time to recover from the Lions tour while there are ongoingg injury issues for Ruan Ackermann (foot surgery) and, of course, Jake Polledri's horrible knee injury.

Add to that Jamal Ford-Robinson is concussed after  the friendly game against Coventry and Joe Simpson has been loaned to Sarrries for a month.

So, it all makes the selection for the first game at Saints on Saturday very interesting.
