We've been waiting for that all season. Wasps must have arrived at Kingsholm expecting a hard game but one they would go on to win given our inability to close out previous games. Not this time ...

The third placed side will no doubt claim they were missing more internationals but  can't argue with the quality of rugby served up by the Cherry and Whites in our 36-18 victory.

Even after going behind to a Tom Young score we always looked more purposeful, and it was no surprise  when that try was equalised by Richard Hibbard.

That set up a four try bonus point second half with Mark Atkinson, Matt Scott, Henry Purdy and Charlie Sharples all crossing.

The win moves us up to 9th and all of a sudden that trip to Sarries next Sunday looks far less daunting.
