Pride At Stake

Jeremy Thrush

This season has imploded after such a promising start but there are still two games left to salvage some pride starting with the Chiefs tonight ..

It will be tough. Exeter are very much rugby's Leicester City this season and need five points to keep the pressure on Sarries at the top.

They have had a tremendous season based on organisation and teamwork.

Sometimes filling your side with big names doesn't always work (ahem) and we bring another into the side tonight. All Black Jeremy Thursh will be in the second row as one of four changes to the side which exited the European Challenge Cup last week.

Yann Thomas  will be at prop - his first Premiership start of the season although he's been on the bench a dozen times, and Ross Moriarty will be in the back row.

The only other change sees Billy Twelvetrees return.

Gloucs: 15. Tom Marshall; 14. Rob Cook, 13. Billy Twelvetrees, 12. Mark Atkinson, 11. Henry Trinder; 10. James Hook, 9. Greig Laidlaw (captain); 1. Yann Thomas, 2. Richard Hibbard, 3. John Afoa; 4. Tom Savage, 5. Jeremy Thrush; 6. Ross Moriarty, 7. Matt Kvesic, 8. Ben Morgan
