Hats off to whoever dreamt up the West Country Challenge Cup to provide some meaningful early season competition in World Cup Year.

Because of the other competition using Kingsholm we won't be "at home" for any of the games against Barff and Exeter with Bristol's Memorial Ground providing us with a temporoary home.

With all three clubs looking to establish alternative sides to get them through the World Cup period these games should be competitive.

Here's the schedule:

Saturday, September 5^th  Exeter Chiefs v Gloucester Rugby - Sandy Park -16.30
Sunday, September 13^th  Gloucester Rugby v Bath Rugby - The Memorial Stadium - 15.00
Saturday, September 19^th  Exeter Chiefs v Bath Rugby - Sandy Park - 15.00
Saturday, September 26^th  Bath Rugby v Gloucester Rugby - Recreation Ground - 17.45
Saturday, October 3^rd  Gloucester Rugby v Exeter Chiefs - The Memorial Stadium - 15.00
Saturday, October 10^th- Bath Rugby v Exeter Chiefs - Recreation Ground - 17.45

Apparently, Glos ST holders need to e-mail, phone or call into the Gloucester Ticket Office before 3.30pm on 14 August to obtain or arrange a complimentary ticket for the matches at the Memorial Stadium.You cannot get in on your ST.

He sent his men all over England into every shire..William I Christmas 1085 Gloucester.
