Some hard work needs to be put in on the training ground this week as we prepare to face Tigers, Quins and Saints on the back of a very disappointing display at Sharks ..

The bonus point was welcome but the yellow cards and poor set piece were not.

On paper the 24-19 result was not too bad but the home side were well worth the win. It was a setback after the recent improved performances but you're not going to win games if you have players in the bin [skipper Hudson and Puafisi] and you're not winning enough ball.

Nigel Davies was understandably upset by the two yellow cards in quick succession and said he felt that half the team "didn't show up."

Sharks: R Miller, T Brady, J Leota (T Arscott 55), S Tuitupou, M Cueto, D Cipriani (N Macleod 70), D Peel (W Cliff 45) R Harrison (E Lewis-Roberts 60), T Taylor (M Jones 60), V Cobilas (T Buckley 73), J Mills (V Fihaki 60), M Paterson, D Braid (capt), D Seymour, J Gaskell.

Tries: R Miller (2), D Braid (2)

Cons – D Cipriani (2)

Gloucester: R Cook, C Sharples, H Trinder (S Monahan 60), R Mills, M Thomas, F Burns, J Cowan (D Robson 55), N Wood (Y Thomas 55, D Dawidiuk (K Britton 60), S Puafisi (R Harden 70), E Stooke, J Hudson (capt) (W James 60), S Kalamafoni, M Cox (M Kvesic 53), G Evans.

Tries: M Thomas, C Sharples

Pen – Burns (3)

Yellow: J Hudson, S Puafisi

Like many opthers Ive given up on this season. I only go to home games now for a bit of a chat with old mates and have a few beerrs. If we we win then that's a bonus but I no longer expect it.
Hopefully the new faces will make a difference next season and get us back to where we normally are.
Whoever did last summer's recruiting needs to take stock of themselves.

Lighten up Ted. You go to games hoping your team will win but there's never any guarantee. If there was then it would be just plain boring.
It hasn't been a good season but we have some real quality players to watch - specially in the backs and it will come good again. Even Man U. cant guarantee success every season
Far better been a Glaws supporter than a Warriors fan.
