Inter's Capello rumour to rock England's boat?

As if the imminent arrival of the World Cup hasn't made England fans nervous enough, the news today that Inter Milan have named Fabio Capello at the top of their hit list to replace Jose Mourinho won't have done much to steady the ship.

So big is the concern that Capello might be lured away from his role with England, that new FA general secretary Alex Horne plans to fly to South Africa to discuss Capello's future next week.

Inter's president Massimo Moratti will wait to approach Capello after England's world cup campaign is over.  But that won't stop the concerns on how the gossip could rock England's world cup ambitions.

FA Communications Director Adrian Bevington stated that despite the changes surrounding the FA in recent weeks, Capello's position as England manager has never been called into question.  The FA are confident that Capello will stay on as England manager after the world cup.
