Richard Money has confirmed that he has no intension of leaving Bescot Stadium – which is great news for all The Saddlers’ supporters today from chairman Jeff Bonser, backed up by the manager Money himself.
Every Walsall fan knows what a fantastic job Richard has done at the club following their relegation from League 1 last season, now Money has committed his future to the club and expects The Saddlers’ to finish in the top 3 (hopefully top).
Money was linked with the managerial vacancy at his former club Coventry City, booted all the speculation that he was leaving Bescot Stadium and Money is 100 per cent committed to finishing the job he has started at Bescot, which Chairman Jeff Bonser and Richard Money himself backed up.
Money told Saddlers World: -
‘People have to ask their self’s where the speculation comes from. It only comes from one group of people the media; it hasn’t come from any other football club and it hasn’t come from me and I don’t expect it to.
‘All I can say is from day 1, my focus has been on one thing, to get this club back into League 1 that still remains the same, I have no intension of leaving this football club until that’s seen through and I have a great sense of loyalty to the chairman here, he’s give me a great opportunity to come back to show people what I am about again and what I can do and what I have achieved over the last few years.’
