Birmingham mess up and Sunderland win the league in style with a walkover at Luton Town.

Sunderland scored twice in the first 10 minutes thanks to two 25-yard shots from Anthony Stokes & Daryl Murphy on 4 & 6 minutes.

 

Murphy got his second goal just 1 minute into the second half after being set-up by Stokes 4 yards out. Ross Wallace made it 4-0 from a 30-yard out left footed shot. David Connolly grabed a goal with just a few minutes left to play.

 

Birmingham lost to Preston thanks to a late Preston goal making Sunderland Champions of the Football League Championship for 2006/2007. Sunderland have won the Championship 2 times in 3 years. Roy Keane can now focus on getting Sunderland ready for the Premier league next season.
