Two strong teams. We’ll need a step up in cohesion compared to last week, but our bench looks impressive, particularly that front row. I’ll go with my usual:
Chiefs 31; Quins 26

What a last 10 mins!! Quins battering our line, tremendous defence but 3 yellow cards, Quins finally scored in 87th min to make it 38-38 but miss the conversion.!!
That was an insane match...who was it that predicted a draw? Quins vs Chiefs at its best though spitting nails at the multiple late sinbinnings. Still, will happilly take a draw at the Toop!
A hugely entertaining game to watch. A draw probably a fair result but both teams will be gutted. Some excellent tries by both sides. The big momentum shift stemmed from a Quins penalty when the Chief's scrum were dominant. It was an odd decision but overall I thought the ref was good especially compared to some I've seen in the PWR. Some poor penalties by us late in the second half were very costly but there was so much to be positive about from that game - not least in the quality spectacle for all women's rugby fans. The last eight minutes were nail biting for players from both sides with Quins losing their tactical heads and the massive Chie's defensive effort only breached after three yellow cards.
An outstanding performance for 60 mins but poor attacking lineouts failed to put game to bed. Another example where substitutions disrupt flow of a team fully in control. Fully deserved 3 points as a defeat would have been cruel in what was a scintillating game. Nice to see two teams intent on attacking (helped by a good surface - not a westcountry wind blown swamp) and not a box kicking bore fest. Having been to a world cup double header and a couple of PWR games I have been royally entertained.
Did think it was odd to a) replace the whole front row at half time when we were not under pressure in the scrum or lineout and b) to leave an international back 5 forward on the bench for the whole game. Strange decisions.
Great game, and fantastic advert for woman's rugby. I too was at the world cup double header and have seen other terrific matches, which makes it even sadder that the games have been excluded from next season's ST! Just when the game was building momentum. I'll be watching from the comfort of my armchair when I can.
In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.
