I think they'll be too good for us, Quins 26 - 21 Chiefs

I think there's too much emotion surrounding this game. It's DC's final appearance at The Stoop, so Quins will want to send him into retirement on a high. The home crowd will play a part in that.

More chopping and changing in our 23, so I will say...

Quins 36 - 26 Chiefs

Cueto wasn't in touch, at least in my dreams.

I see no reason to abandon my strategy of blind optimism, totally contradicted by all the available evidence, and go for Chiefs 36, Quins 31
The reality is that Will Evans and Jack Kenningham will shred us at the breakdown, resulting in at least a hat-trick for Jack Walker, their hooker…

Once again all I really hope for is an injury free contest, where the players genuinely make an effort to compete, show some cohesion and discipline and don't make stupid ball handling errors. If that is the case it could be a competitive game, but this is really more in hope than expectation.

Sadly there seems to be a total malaise amongst the senior players, Yeandle, Townsend and Slade especially, and that seems to be rubbing off on the younger guys.

Ive given up making predictions.

I hope not but can see our pack being totally run off their feet by a very mobile Quins team who top the turnover stats as well. I see Quins got their own touch judge as well if it wasn’t hard enough already !!

DC’s last game, special dispensation for him to wear 9 from bench. What on earth could go wrong? Actually I think nothing will go wrong for Care’s final hurrah. In fact I fear it could be a beat down, hope not but…..Quins 51 Chiefs 21

Quins 68 Chiefs 19 I cannot see us escaping from a drubbing. Quins will be 100% motivated and am not sure how we will cope with them scoring early which I expect them to. The breakdown may be painful to watch. I find it difficult to look at my predicted score but think it very likely.

It will be an open, free running game with a fair few tries. Quins will be up for it, last home game and Care’s swan song. Expect to come back at the death and sneak a bonus point - Quins 42 Chiefs 26.

A right old drubbing on the cards again or a miracle but with smith, dombrant, green and co its a difficult task quinns 52 chiefs 19 anyone who can predict this result or the next against sale should be employed as head coach.

Danny care allowed to wear the no 9 in his last home game, well done what a brilliant servant and scrum half he has been , a genuinely nice guy to who puts his family first before money wish him well in his retirement.

Such negativity! Not unsurprisingly, especially with Dickson being allowed to run the line! Ludicrous in my opinion.

We've been so poor in the last two games it's difficult to predict anything other than a heavy defeat. I'm with Cornwall Chief, if we concede early we're in big trouble. Both confidence and energy levels appear to be empty, we need the season to end without any more damage. I don't really care about winning I just want to see a team that puts in a proper shift. Quinn's have both Kennigham and Evans in their back row, with ridiculous number of turnovers between them! We give away a stupid number of turnovers a game. Put those two together and we could be in a lot of trouble!! Our starting front row don't fill me with any sort of confidence. On the plus side nice to see Tommy back, a much more balanced back three. I hope we can keep it respectable, but I doubt it, we look totally spent.
Quinn's 64 Chiefs 19

With some nice weather and away from home, there’s going to be some points. Not expecting a lot from us but Rob has had hold of the team for 3 weeks now and I expect us to be a bit more resolute.
Still….Quins 43 Chiefs 21.

Quins have lost more games then they have won in the league this season, but when they are up for it they can beat New Zealand. Also it is going to be hot, London heat that has never suited us.

Our backs look very fluid but not much ball carrying, but our back row very slow.

Quins haven't been quite so free-scoring this season so I'm not sure it'll be quite the hammering some are expecting ... of course, I may be way off the mark (Sm26)

Given the season we've had, I'm giving much respect to those at the foot of the table who have played most weeks, but come away with fewest points. Clearly they are our eternal optimists and should be duly recognised as such! 👏
Thanks Ouch for your devotion to this task.

It’s heart warming to be recognised for my ability to remain optimistic in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, but then again I did spend 20 years as a London Irish supporter before joining the Chief’s tribe, so I have plenty of experience in watching my team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory…

Well I tried to remain optimistic right up till the point I realised I represented the epitome of that well-known definition of insanity. Something like; repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result!
