Can Bailey step up for them, can we match the intensity of 2 weeks ago, will last week have taken too much out of us? Hopefully no, yes and hopefully not.
Chiefs 28 - 18 Barf.
Disappointed that Vincent and Tuima not in 23 and Christ on bench as all three had outstanding games ( particularly Christ who disrupted their line all game) against Bath 2 weeks ago. Are the first two injured ? Would like to see Frost in the mix as well as Hawkins but again are they injured ? Puzzling selection for a must win game.
With player welfare always in the headlines how can it be that our no 10 plays every game of the season ?
Anyway strong Bath side as expected and they should be favourites but you never know on the day.
Exeter 24 Bath 34
A really big game for both clubs. A win for Bath will eclipse Chief's chances of a top four and mean battling for a top six. Without Finn Russell and Redpath I feel optimistic and hopefully we will get all five points. We need to be on a winning roll for the next four games. My head says I am crackers but my heart says Chiefs 32 Bath 24
Prem no.10's:
Bath. Fin Russell (normally)
Bristol. AJ McGinty
Gloucester. Adam Hastings
Harlequins. Marcus Smith
Leicester. Handre Pollard
Newcastle. Bret Connon
Northampton. Fin Smith
Sale. George Ford
Saracens. Owen Farrell
Will home advantage make enough difference? It should be a high scoring game. Our defence system will probably ensure that. Chiefs 34 Bath 45. The 2 week rest will be significant. Hope I am very wrong.
Who knows! Predicting scores is a lottery at the moment! Can Barf manage without Finn? Do we have enough energy after last week? I have no idea! Going Chiefs 22 Barf 32. Think their bench is much better, and that, coupled with the tiredness from last week should see them home. Hope to be wrong again!!!
