What the hell is going on, players popping in and out every week, Gray was mentioned as being
doubtful but where is Jonny Hill? We have not got a settled team and we are going to suffer.
Chiefs 17 - 25 Warriors

Glad JI has got number two hooker, quite a youthful bench but quality. Believe we will win with all the illness prior to our last meeting must have drained energy levels. We will have to do our bit as we know the team does respond.

That was my immediate reaction, seeing neither of the Jonnys starting, especially after how well our lineout was working last week.

Pleased to see Innard. Not so happy with no Hill and Whitts start ahead of Hendrickson. Worried re Poite's interpretations of scrum as I think that is our big weakness. Avoiding soft penalties key and not dropping off first time tackles, Sladey especially. Poite often allows quite a lot at the breakdown. Will also struggle to defend maul's against their pack. Really worried but on the evidence of last week's performance and a must win game at all costs. Chiefs 30 Glasgow 28. Not at all confident though.

The thought crossed my mind as well. With possible travel restrictions and covid cancelations the cup is starting to look at bit farcical. Going all out for top four might not be a bad thing.

Also agree with this, we can't play that badly again. I'm going for Chiefs 22 Glasgow 12.

Like others, I wonder if top 4 in the league is our focus. It may be that we have illness (covid/flu) in the camp and, along with injuries and AH's suspension, these are the best options we have at the moment. Whilst Warriors are probably favourites Rob may be looking at the possible outcomes of this and other matches in Pool A and will decide after this week whether to go for it in Montpellier or focus on top 4.

As with last week, I think if we can keep it close before the replacements come on, we'll maybe get at least an LBP so I'm going to randomly say, Chiefs 24 - Warriors 28 - and, as fisher says 'I could be wrong' (as I have been every other week (Sm130))

On paper I believe that Glasgow should be favourites which would mean the home form history would be broken. I’m sticking with a Chiefs home win because I want our young guns to step up of the bench and make future selection a problem. This has cost me too many times this season in our prediction league but hey it’s only a game. I can believe I just wrote that!

Maybe we can get points for predicting that?

28-20 Looking for improvements in the pack without some usual faces to take us into next year. Hope that's RB's plan as to me it's a great opportunity.

In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

Gloomy is the word down here. It may be the weather or the fact that we have lost our 1st and 2nd choice tight heads, our 1st choice loose head, both our second row starters and our 1st choice 12. Will the home crowd be enough to lift the players? Notwithstanding all the above I'm greatly looking forward to seeing Dafydd Jenkins make his Euro debut!

Can't commit the heresy of predicting a loss. Besides, I reckon we, ie the home support, will make the difference.

Well, I'm embarrassed and ashamed by my total inability to understand rugby union. Why I thought Chiefs would lose that, I just don't know. Please accept my apologies.

Glasgow looked stunned by the pace and intent and once Chiefs got on the right side of Poite they looked unbeatable. All of the guys played well and I thought it was very noticeable how much energy Hoggy brought to the game.

Don't mention it Ouch. the pessimists' boat was pretty crowded and the fence has severely damaged my bottom going for a draw.

If it was racing I think there would be a steward's inquiry into Glasgow's performance in the last half-hour even taking into account Exeter's improvement.
