There's no room for error this week if the Chiefs are to keep any European hopes alive, they need to win.

There's no room for error this week if the Chiefs are to keep any European hopes alive, they need to win and the return of certain players such as Don Armond can only help that.  It will also be interesting to see if Jack Nowell get's at least a place on the bench now that he has recovered from the injury sustained on England duty.  Thankfully Johnny Hill has some decent playing time under his belt now to bolster the lineout options and Sam Skinner is likely to feature again in the back row with arguuably our player of the season so far, Matt Kvesic.  Hopefully they'll feature more with ball in hand than in the scrum following lasts weeks game when something like 24 messy scrums spoilt the game for many.  I would really like to see Joe Simmonds given the 10 shirt as he brought some spark and creativity to the game when he came off the bench v Bristol.

Castre will definitely be up for it as they also have a chance to progress but Chiefs will be looking for a good win to bolster their chances.

Munster have now qualified for the quarter finals after their 15 - 41 win over Gloucester. Even if The Chiefs win with a bonus point against Castres, does anybody actually think Castres will lose at home against Gloucester and The Chiefs will win at Thomand Park?
For those who think Munster may rest players on January 19th against The Chiefs because they have qualified, think again, they won't, they owe it to their supporters and their win record at fortress Thomand Park.

Munster now have 17 points so they haven’t qualified yet. If Chiefs win the next 2 games and end up joint top with 17 points, Chiefs qualify as winners due to better head to head results.

Glos did a lot of picking and driving on the Munster line last night and scored two tries from it I believe..
I couldn't watch that every week.

As rule of thumb history tells us to succeed in this comp you have to win the 3 home games and 1 away game. having failed to do so we were left with a mountain to climb even if we win tomorrow. I would like too dream but a win in Ireland looks impossible. If Joey. CARBERY even became available sign him. A master class at Glaws last night. Showed up CIPRIANI's limitations

Too many comments above writing us off! Come on guys (gender neutral)!
If it's mathematically possible we should get behind our Chiefs and tust them to chase the win, no matter the probability or likelihood.

In any case, we need to deliver the killer blow to Castres first, so, one thing at a time.

Should have won both games, let ourselves down badly in France, and the weather was a great leveller at home against Munster.
Unfortunately the Glos that turned up last night was the rubbish one. You just never know which Glos team will turn up this season.
