Season 2012/13 the Run In
With 10 points from the last 3 games how does it look for Exeter Chiefs in their quest for a top 6 place? Well here are the remaining games:

Having recovered from a frustrating series of results Chiefs are back on song now with 10 points from the last 3 games. Even this weeks loss to Tigers showed the Chiefs energy levels are high and defensively we look strong.
So the first two matches are against sides below us followed by two matches against teams above us in the league.
Worcester Warriors (A) - last season's game at Sixways saw Chiefs victorious but only after scoring two tries with a similar number of minutes on the clock. It's difficult to call this one as Warriors are such a Jeckyl and Hyde team. They can score really good tries but have left their fans frustrated on numerous ocassions by not closing out games. Although Sixways isn't an easy place to go I don't see the Chiefs leaving it so late this season to seal the points.
London Irish (H) - Irish are starting to pull away from the R zone and are playing much better than early in the season. However I don't think they'll have enough to overcome the Chiefs at Sandy Park. Having said this if we get a dry ground there should be plenty of attacking rugby to watch.
London Wasps (A) - now this isn't going to be easy with the way Wasps have been going this season and I think they'll still be battling for a top 4 place. We'll need to be at our stingey best and keep the ball away from their flyers Wade annd Varndell as well as avoiding kickable penalties. If we can come away with a win it'll really set things up for the last game of the season though and could cement 6th place.
Gloucester Rugby (H) - What a great way to end the season with Glaws at home! It's likely to be a sell out at Sandy Park with plenty of Cherry and White on display. If we haven't sealed 6th place by then this game could have a heineken Cup place riding on it. There's bound to be a great atmosphere and I'm sure the Chiefs will want to end the season on a high.
Whatever the outcome the Chiefs will be in the Aviva Premiership for a fourth season and will be aiming for a top 4 spot in 2013/14.

Warriors are similar having all their wins and 1 draw at home and lost all away games this season. Only Tigers and Saints have come away with wins (Quins still to visit). So going to be a much harder game than I was thinking but hopefully they are heading into holiday mode as they are effectivly safe and not going to make HC but don't think that Hill will allow that to happen.
For Wasps to still be in the playoff picture they will need two massive results over the next 2 rounds with Saracens at home then away to Tigers. They are 7 points behind Saints and Saints still have Welsh and Sale where you would expect them to get 8-10 points.
