The Bath Duck...

Will Chiefs break their duck by finally defeating Bath?  A sell out crowd will be there to watch as Bath visit Sandy Park on 29th Dec.

The Bath Duck..

...is something that Exeter Chiefs will be wanting to lay to bed by the end of Saturday's match at Sandy Park.  Since joining the Prem Chiefs have not managed to beat their West Country rivals but Saturday should see this change.  Although the Chiefs lost last week at Castle Grim the result could easily have gone their way and prior to this had been undefeated for 7 games in all competitions (including the Heineken Cup).  They have also won all their home Prem games in front of their ever growing band of loyal supporters.  The Tribe will be in full voice to shout the Chiefs on as they take on a Bath side that failed to score in their last match at the Rec.  There are just 4 points between the sides with Chiefs in 6th and Bath 8th at the halfway point of the season.  One other notable statistic shows Chiefs scoring twice the number of tries Bath have whilst conceding 40% more tries.  It will be interesting to see Rob Baxter's team selection as there have been a few changes over recent weeks as he has given game time to some whilst resting others.  Not that you would have noticed much difference in the team performance or intensity.  The squad will be wanting to get a win under the belt to kick off the second half of the season and go in search of a top four place.

Only one outcome for me, a Chiefs win with no LBP for our visitors.

Hope you all had a great Christmas and have a

new year

Looking forward to this one, hoping that we play to our full potential and come away with the points. Previous matches have been close results, either team seems to counter act ech other.
Oh yes and remeber we haven't beaten LW yet either.
