" Leeds Rhinos full-back Brent Webb has been banned for four matches following two reckless high tackles in the Rhinos' win at Harlequins RL on Saturday.

The New Zealand international had an eventful game at the Twickenham Stoop, being placed on report twice and sin-binned, but then scoring two tries.

He has been banned for two matches for each of the two offences placed on report and fined a total of £600.

Webb will now miss engage Super League matches against Salford, Hull KR, Bradford and Hull, returning only for the final regular season game at home to Wakefield. "

So it seems that you can overspend by thousands to consequently get more internationals in your team and only loose two points yet the RFL seem to think two or three high tackles is worthy of a four match ban.

But here is some good news;

Thankfully Rob Burrow is cleared of serious injury following only thirteen minutes on the field. He wont be taking part in the game against Salford but is cleared for the rest of the season as he only has bruising on his ribs.

Tony Smith may also be welcoming back Matt Diskin into the squad along with Micheal Ratu.
