Tony Smith Set To Be Great Britian Coach...

It is almost certain that Tony Smith will become the new Great Britian head coach. Yes, it's true the coach that brought us the Super League title in 2004 and The World Club Challenge in 2005. Although he hasn't brought the club anything else since that time, it is still a achievement.

The latest news post on the official Super League website posted earlyer today:

The Rugby Football (RFL) has called a press conference for this afternoon (Monday, 26 March) to unveil the new head coach of Great Britain.

The first Test Match for the new Great Britain coach will be a mid-season international against France at a venue yet to be confirmed.  This will be followed in the autumn by the Gillette Fusion Test Series against New Zealand.

If Tony Smith gets the job as the nations rugby league head coach, he is reckoned to leave in only a few weeks time.
