Crofts: "It's going to be tough"

Gillingham captain Andrew Crofts knows that he and his Gillingham team mates face a hard test at Elland Road in a game that anything less than a Gillingham win will codemn The Gills to league Two. The Gills captain thought it was probably all over after Swindon's late equalizer, but know thinks its meant to be for Gillingham after Oldhams late equaliser.

The young Gillingham captain admitted that he thought it was probably all over when Hasney Aljofree scored a late equalizer against The Gills last Saturday, but believes it is meant to be for Gillingham to stay up following Oldham’s last minute equalizer against Cheltenham, Crofts told KentOnline: “Luckily we’re still in with a shout, it was disappointing not to take three points against Swindon after being so close and it was gutting at the end.

“It was frustrating but one point was better than nothing. After the Swindon result we thought maybe it was going to be over, but the results meant we’ve been given an extra chance and it meant we were able toget over the disappointment of Saturday a lot quicker.

“With Oldham scoring late on, we feel that maybe it’s meant to be. We could have been down but we’ve been given an extra chance and hopefully the other teams will slip up. It’s going to be tough but we’ll be positive. We’ve got to take the game to them (Leeds) and we have to win to stand any chance. We’ll be going into the match in a positive frame of mind."

Hollow words, wonky eyes.

I'm afraid you are going to get battered. Consider yourselves down.
