Gillingham manager Ronnie Jepson has rewarded striker Bas Savage a months extension to his contract following a string of impressive performances. Savage started in the victories over Tranmere Rovers and Leyton Orient and put in some impressive performances.
Savage, 24, signed for the Gills on a three month contract in late September. Savage spent the majority of last season with Bristol City where he scored his only league goal to date.
The deal signed by Savage keeps Bas with the Gills until the end of January.
Savage is expected to start tomorrow against Oldham where he will be hoping to score his first ever goal for Gillingham.
