This Weeks League One Update with News, Results, Fixtures and Tables from League One. Including Dave Bassett playing down talks with after the departure of Leyroy Rosenior. Former Southampton Boss Dave Bassett has been linked with League one side Brentford after the departure of Leyroy Rosenior.
Rosenior left because of a poor run of results for the Bees and currently Scott Fitzgerald is the caretaker manager at Griffin Park. However, the London club are looking for a more experienced mamager to take up the full time job.
Bassett though says "I have heard nothing about the Brentford job and have not spoken to anyone from the club".

While Yeovil Town are close to signing Bristol City Midfielder Marcus Stewart according to the clubs chairman Steve Landsdown. Stewart had a on-loan contract with Yeovil earlier at the season but now looks to be nearly completing a full conract.

Also, Tranemere have signed Ian Goodison untill 2009, Oldham have extended the contract of Wigan player Tomasz Cywka and Crewe have agreed a deal to sign French defender Patrick Noubissie.

Former Gills boss John Gorman has failed to get either Leon Best or Hogan Ephraim on a loan deal at Northampton.
