Tonight Brighton take on a more formidable opposition than they are used to from Divisions 2 and 3. Coventry City were in the Premiership not too long ago!... Tonight (13th) Brighton play Coventry at the Withdean. The first home match of the season for Brighton and only 3 days after both teams won their opening matches; it will be a hard challenge for Brighton, who may have to rely on the immense advantage the difficult pitch at the Withdean gives them over opponents.

Without Steve Melton, but with Danny Cullip back from his illness, Hinshelwood does not have any terrible selection problems. But his opposite number Gary McAllister, is without a fair few players for the clash. Kick-off is at 7:45, match is all-ticket and has sold out.
