The fans and players begin to wonder

As the county cricket season begins, fans and players begin to wonder what will the England cricket team have in store for the all improtant test at Sri Lanka? But will it end in victory or tears? And just what do the players really think? With the India series ending in only what can be explained as 'painful' what will the next series against Sri Lanka have in store?

Starting on 11th May and ending on 1st July the real test begins. A number of Test matches, ODI's and twenty20 internationals will
see what England are really made of. Will they pull it off? Will this be the start of a fantastic summer? Or will it be the start of
something that will have you on the edge of your seat?

Flintoff explained he was 'gutted' that Old Trafford Cricket ground wasn't chosen to be played at, he enjoyed playing there in front of
full houses and realised how amazing it was to play infront of thousands of people and to have so many turned away. But that is the least
of their troubles. The India ODI's will have every english cricket fan anxious (or not as the case may be)to see how England will do and
if any progress has been made.

Ashley Giles will be out of the series but Geraint Jones will be back in. With Vaughan admitting that he may decide to give up ODI's for
good, will his batting still be on form? Steve Harmison is looking doubtful because of a pain in his right shin but it looks like Simon Jones
may return with Marcus Trescothick coming back with him.

One can only hope that the Sri Lanka series will be a victory, and with the ashes getting closer by the day we need as many good wins as we can
get.
