As we have heard Marcus Trescothick has pulled out of the Champions Trophy in India, but as he could not give an explanation into why this is, so we try to explain why he dropped out. Is is personal Issues? Or Health?
Okay, so this may and could still remain a mystery but why has Marcus Trescothick pulled out of the Champions Trophy without leaving an explanation? With just a few words he said, "I am sorry, I can't say anything,"

I’m sure you’ve all seen the newspapers, the news, or heard on the radio that he left because of ‘personal issues’ but could there be more to this than meets the eye?

A spokesman from Performance Healthcare, treating Trescothick, said: “After his return from the tour of India in March, Marcus sought specialist help for his ongoing symptoms. In addition to the deleterious effects of the acquired gastrointestinal infection on his health, it later became evident that he was also suffering from an underlying stress-related illness.

“He has been receiving specialist treatment, which has allowed him to resume his position in the England team. However, we believe that it would be premature for him to tour India in October. Rest is an important part of his treatment and he will need recovery time before the Ashes tour of Australia which begins in November.”

So is his health down to his recent poor form in the England side? I mean every single England and non-England fan out there knows he hasn’t been at his best, but we don’t actually know the real reasons why? What are these personal issues? It’s really none of our business but I never like to see an England or any player for that matter down, especially with The Ashes coming up. Trescothick has been a dedicated England player, I just hope whatever these issues are they get sorted and he gets back to his normal self. No one likes to see him like this, especially when he could loose his place in The Ashes squad!
