This Saturday sees a return to action after a long break over the festive season as Albion bid a warm welcome to Bishop's Stortford.

Bishop's Stortford sit 10th in the table with 16 points seperating them from Albion. They started the season poorly with two wins out of eight, but have since won three out of six.

Albion, on the other hand, have lost consistency, with their away form suffering. They are still defending a 100% home record

Albion have a far superior try scoring record with over four tries per game whilst Stortford have a little over three, whilst Albion have conceded less than three tries with Stortford conceding over 3½. Albion's front row will be particularly threatening as this area is not only Albion's strongest, but appears to be Stortford's Achilles heel.

Bishop's Stortford also seem to be able to pace themselves well throughout the game, scoring at a consistent rate in each quarter, although they may a little vulnerable towards the end of the game as substitutions take effect.

The fixture between the sides earlier in the season was close with Albion securing a 24-21 win after a late penalty from Tom Putt.

The referee for the game should be Adam Wookey who visited Brickfields in November to officiate the game against Blackheath. In 11 games this season he has doled out 17 cards - fairly evenly between home and away sides.

Player to watch - Top try scorer Chris Smith has started all but one game on the wing this season.

Weather - Should be overcast for the rest of the week and remaining for the game with little wind. Whilst temperatures are cold, they should remain above zero, so no expectation of freezing conditions so should expect the game to go ahead.

Forecast - Plenty of lineouts where Albion should dominate will lead to a comfortable win for Albion.

Other games of note: Rams vs Sedgley Park - 2nd placed takes on 4th. A loss for Rams will give Albion a chance to close the gap to Rams. Sale vs Chinnor - Whilst Sale are languishing in 12th, they are enjoying a renaissance having won 3 out of their last 4 games. Chinnor are probably a little to strong for them, but Sale could be a banana skin.
