With the friendlies out of the way the League kicks off with an away trip to Rosslyn Park.
Not a particularly easy game to launch the campaign and Albion already have a number of lomg term injuries to contend with.
Park have had a busy close season recruiting no fewer than 23 new players to replace 11 that have left, mostly through retirement (incuding former Albion player - Jared Saunders). The new recruits join 31 retainees who include their leading try scorer from last season, Charlie Walker.
Albion last played Rosslyn Park towards the back end of last season losing out 41-32 after two late(ish) tries put paid to both a win and a losing BP. This ultimately decided the final league positioning of Albion in 5th and Park in 4th.
This will be a difficult fixture for Albion, with it being the first of the season against what looks a squad who will look to be in the mix for promotion, but the slate will be clean and perhaps they won't quite up to speed.
Forecast: Overcast but dry, with a chance of sunshine in the latter part of the afternoon with temperature the low 20s. A light breeze will blow from the exposed corner.
Prediction - A loss for Albion, probably not even a bonus point.
